Where Adventure Meets the Outdoors
BC Outdoor Education Camp for Schools
Camp Jubilee is a BC outdoor education camp offering flexible, customized programs for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our school programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each class while providing students with hands-on learning, outdoor adventure, and unforgettable experiences.
Located on the waterfront at the base of Mount Seymour, Camp Jubilee is just a 45-minute boat ride from Cates Park in North Vancouver. Our beautiful outdoor setting combines the comforts of modern facilities with the adventure of a rustic wilderness environment—creating an ideal place for students to explore, learn, and connect with nature.
Outdoor Education Activities
Students can choose from a wide range of engaging outdoor education activities designed to encourage teamwork, confidence, problem-solving, and exploration. Depending on the age and interests of your students, activities may include:
Archery
Voyageur canoeing
Kayaking
Hiking and nature exploration
Beach study
Shelter building
Orienteering
Team building
Slingshots
Low ropes
High ropes
Rock climbing
For students ages 10 and up, additional challenge-based activities such as kayaking, high ropes, low ropes, and rock climbing are available.
Comfortable Camp Accommodation
After a full day of outdoor activities, students can relax in our comfortable wooden cabins and yurts. Accommodations include heating, electric lighting, and washrooms with running water, providing the perfect balance between a traditional camp experience and modern comforts.
Jubilee Lodge is the heart of Camp Jubilee and includes multiple dining areas, a welcoming kitchen, a first aid room, and a dedicated adults-only lounge for teachers and chaperones.
Meals and Dietary Accommodations
We take pride in providing nutritious and enjoyable meals that students, teachers, and chaperones can look forward to throughout their stay. Every breakfast includes fresh fruit, while lunch and dinner include a salad option.
We can accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements at no additional cost. Our team works with schools in advance to ensure that students’ dietary needs are communicated and accommodated during their stay.
A Memorable Outdoor Education Experience
At Camp Jubilee, our goal is to create an outdoor education experience that students will remember long after they return home. Through hands-on activities, teamwork, adventure, and time spent in nature, students have the opportunity to build confidence, discover new skills, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors.
Whether you’re planning a school field trip, an overnight outdoor education program, or a multi-day class adventure, Camp Jubilee provides a unique BC outdoor education experience where students can learn, explore, and have fun together.
