EXTREME ACTIVITIES 10+ YEARS

Rock Climbing

Participants will put on a harness and helmet and have the opportunity to climb our 40 foot natural rock wall. It will require some skill and effort to reach the top, but the view at the top is worth it!

High Ropes

Elements built from cables, logs, and ropes are suspended 30 feet above the ground. They are designed to present a physical and emotional challenge to the participants. Develops confidence while overcoming fears.

Kayaking

Indian Arm is a perfect kayaking location. Each kayaking session will begin with a safety presentation followed by learning basic paddling, performing a wet exit and exploring Indian Arm.

STANDARD ACTIVITIES

ARCHERY

Participants will learn how to correctly hold and fire a bow and arrow. Archery develops coordination and concentration.

Sling Shots

Participants will be taught proper slingshot technique. We have created a slingshot range with wooden targets and environmentally friendly projectiles.

Shelter Building

Participants will learn about building an emergency survival shelter. They will have the opportunity to build a shelter for their group. An instructor will give them tips for surviving the elements.

ORIENTEERING

Participants will learn how to use a compass, follow bearings and interpret maps while navigating through our woodland orienteering course.

LOW ROPES

The low ropes course is a series of separate elements. Each element presents the participants with a specific challenge. Plan and execute as a team in order to reach your goals.

VOYAGEUR CANOE

A large canoe, which holds up to 15 participants while steered by a Camp Jubilee program instructor. Guests will be instructed how to safely participate in canoe activities, learn basic paddling skills and explore Indian Arm.

TEAM BUILDING

Participants are lead through exciting and innovative team building activities designed to build decision-making and problem solving skills. These challenges can only be overcome by the whole team in order to reach their goal.

NATURE HIKE

The nature hike takes participants out into the old growth forest with one of our trained instructors.

BEACH STUDY

Catch and release some of the many hidden creatures of the inter-tidal zone. Gain an increased knowledge of this interesting marine community. *Tide Dependent.

SWIMMING

Enjoy the refreshing glacial waters of Indian Arm from our swimming beach with a NLS lifeguard. *Seasonal/weather dependent.
